It's been two or three weeks since I got my GT500 V1. Going straight to the point, this thing is a beast! Temps lower by average of 15-20 degrees and not even on full speed. This thing is loud, but does its job like a superb quality product, BUT if you have good over-ear headset it won't be disturbing while gaming. Won't say much about USB-hub, because it just works. Average USB transfer speeds are ~35-40MB/s.
Waiting for the next iteration of GT series to see what else IETS comes up with. Also I would like to see seal foams to be purchasable separatedly.
Summing up, great product worth every single penny.

I always had over 80c on CPU when playing GTA 5 on my GIGABYTE G5 KD. Even when setting this fan at cca. 30% power I've managed to lower the temps down to 70c!
If I ramp up the fan, the CPU sits at 65c playing the same game with the same settings. Non of the other coolers on the market were able to achieve such a difference, really amazing.

2 years agoVery good cooler. Definitely the best one on the market. With my scar 17 I get around 86c on call of duty mw2 on max settings. With this cooling pad on high blast it drops it down to 72 to 73 which is crazy!! Over 14c difference is insane. I highly recommend it as other cooling pads are a joke on the market. Fast delivery too!

2 years agoHi KYRIAKOS, there are 3 buttons to control the RGB lights of GT500 S2/V2. Button "M" to change the animation modes; button "S" to change the speed, and long pressing will turn on/off the RGB light; button "C" to lock the light's color. Thanks.

2 years agoWorks good I have MSI Raider GE66 and my laptop was going up to 86 degrees on max performance. With this cooling pad (V2) if I turn it to 40-60% it already keeps 72-74 degrees if I put it on max power lowers till 65.I didn't noticed any problems working with USB HUB also, but RGB light animations are not really very smooth, so I put animation on higher speed so it looks a bit smoother but still have some place for improvement. Overall, definitely worth it.

2 years agoPurchased the 4200 rpm model. Using it with the Asus ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition. Works great, drops temps across the board by at least 10 degrees. It is loud at max rpm but it isn't nearly as noticeable as when the laptop's own fans hit max rpm. The noise is also at a lower frequency so it tends to blend in with the other ambient noise I have going on in the room.

3 years agoThis product is loud but it's bearable with the laptop sitting on it, my laptop doesn't have the loudest speakers and they are on the bottom but I can still hear them fine, I was running like 88 to 92 degree Celsius befor the fan and after it's keeping it well below 70 so that's a gigantic win. Gigabyte g5md 24 gb 11400h rtx 3050ti. I would recommend this to you if you spent over a grand on your gaming laptop.

3 years agoThis is the second GT500 we bought for our houshold, for our two gaming laptops. They make an incredible difference, where before we sometimes both had issues with softlocks due to overheating GPU's. 5 stars.

15 days ago5 stars on service and delivery alone. I had ordered the gt600 first off Amazon and had bad luck in receiving it which lead to me getting refunded but after speaking to the company direct and being assured that I would receive it, I decided to order the 500 because it suited my specific needs better.
I received it today, one week after i ordered it.
Its not as loud as I thought is was going to be. The foam seal is soft and grips the bottom of the laptop (lenovo legion I9) quite well. There is plenty of air flow through the laptop on the lowest setting. The front clips seem stable though they are a little wobbly because of the design of the height adjustment system but appear to be functional so far. The RGB is bright and there are a ton of settings to pick from.

1 month agodamn expensive and i took a gamble buying it but holy crap it works super well. highest fan setting is extremely loud, like louder than your voice lol. I play CPU intensive video games and my laptop's core was previously heating to 90c, 95c, sometimes even 100c (which is super dangerous). With this pad the same games are running 60-80c(max). basically saved me from my laptop exploding again and i don't feel like i'm in an abusive relationship with my computer anymore. Thanks IETS!

4 months agoThis baby got my Nitro V15 20ºC cooler while also being quieter than the laptop fans at full speed. It was exactly as good as I read in other reviews, I'm very happy.

8 months agoThis cooling pad cut the recorded temperature of my gaming laptop's CPU and GPU in half even while I was heavily gaming. Now I don't have to ever worry about my laptop overheating!

10 months agoJust arrived today, its crazy how this cooling pad lowered my temps by more then 30 degrees under high load! i could recommend the V1 version 100% if you are looking for a cooling pad. Worth the price and quality!
The One and Only - IETS GT500 !
This is the only cooling Pad that works at all in the hole market. Im into IT since 41 Years, so you can imagine how much crap i had to deal with in the past. But this Company have had made its brain to a 20 years unsolved problem. And they solved it !
The Power is insane ! The LED Programs are awsome and they have a lot of Variation, i mean really a lot ! Until now i wasnt ever the biggest Fan of RGB but now you got me in :)
The Quality of the Board is amazing. The Finish is perfect. Actually i would change some technical Design details. Putting the Controls from left to right, because most of people are right-handed. And i would also think about putting the USB inputs all together at the back-side. I believe the case has enough room to make some changes?
In matter of Cable Management it would be a dream to have them all at the back-side. But this are cosmetic-toughts. It would be a perfect roundup for the next Generation.
Noise: I have expected it much louder than it is. Yes it has its Level - but it also has so much Power to manage heat - so i dont care. I priorise the heat management and the saving of my Hardware. Oh it a RTX 3060 with a Ryzen 5600H. Lets get to the Numbers. The GPU can draw a 130 Watt at max. The Temps are now arround 72 °C at a Room Temp about 24°C.
The CPU Numbers are speaking more visible Advantages. Before with some of the useless cooling pads the CPU was only able to draw 72 Amps max and 52 Amps continuous draw. Now with the GT500 it can draw 110 Amps at max and is running at 72 Amps average. The Temps are even at high Ambiente Temps about 24°C still under 96°C which is in my case a hughe Advantage. Before it would have shout down anyway. Now i can run it 24/7 and having a loose Mind about my Temps at all.
So lets be clear. This Development from IETS is awsome! You can trow your money out for all the useless 5 Volt USB Pads or save all your money and get the perfect one right away.
IETS i love you! I´ve been praying for years to a Company making their own thoughts about this unsovled Problem and bring out a sense making and working Product instead of empty promises like all the others did.
Maybe one last thought. I would fill up all the empty space inside the case with some kind of foam and maybe change the decoupling of the fan a little bit. I belive the next Gen will be a great suprise to all lucky Owners of the Gt500.
