Just arrived today, its crazy how this cooling pad lowered my temps by more then 30 degrees under high load! i could recommend the V1 version 100% if you are looking for a cooling pad. Worth the price and quality!

Stupid thing it does not allow me to put more than 5 stars!

Just received mine. Amazing product. Everything the other reviews mention is true. I have the new Asus zenbook S16 (AMD HX370) and it dropped temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees celsius. Did i mention its an amazing product?!

I was worried a bit but i got it eventually. I will buy another one (the newer version) in a few days as a gift

My laptop is 2023 Asus ROG Strix G16
What I brought is GT-500 V2

And yes, it does work as it describe and should.
Average user on my laptop, in the past sitting idle 48 degree with GT-500 V2 got round 30 degree, set fan speed 50 percent.

As for gaming in heavy with full setting without, 85 and 90 degrees with GT-500 V2 round 70 and 82 degree and is using full fan speed. Try half fan speed 80 to 85 degree.

Overall, in my opinion is best cooling fan, the question is should you buy? Just ask yourself, how long you spend on your laptop and staying in home or office as your main communication and playing games. Then you may consider this GT500 which ever version.

On IETS service the postage and commination is excellent and package was well sealed.

I am very happy with my ETS GT500 purchase.. I have a Lenovo Legion 7 .. on full power it is too noisy on maximum setting, but I have mine set to just under half way and the temp dropped by 10 degrees..

But I have a question...

How on earth can I get a constant white light?.. Everything I have tried is like a flashing rainbow, Changing from - Red, Yellow, Blue, Green.. Every color & combination under the sun which is driving me nuts..I am an old fool in my 70s!..

So, simple instructions would be much appreciated please.. I would just like white constant light that doesn't flash!.. Thanks

Ich hab mir den GT500v2 von IETS gekauft. Es ist nicht gerade günstig - Aber das ist es wert! Vor allem bei Notebooks die wirklich sehr heiß werden.

Ich habe habe gerade angefangen DL2 zu spielen. Im Prolog auf der Voreinstellung "Raytraycing" (= höchste Einstellung + Raytraycing) erreicht die CPU ohne Kühler 89°C und die GPU 86°C.
Mit Kühler (höchste Stufe): CPU = 56°C, GPU = 56°C.

Das sind über 30°C weniger.

Die FPS haben sich jetzt fast so gut wie gar nicht geändert, aber auf Dauer schont es in jedem Fall die Hardware.

Ich kann den IETS somit uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Und so laut ist er gar nicht. Man kann auch die mittlere Kühlerleistung einstellen und er kühl dennoch sehr gut herunter.

PS: Ich habe das innere Schaumstoffteil nicht entfernt. Er könnte ohne vielleicht noch mehr herunter kühlen. Die Lautstärke liegt bei etwa 65 db auf maximaler Stufe.

Excellent equipment! It's worth the investment since there was a drop of 15 to 20 Celsius degrees, which left me amazed. A cooling pad that promises and delivers.
I'm already excited about the launch of the new gt600 model, which will be my new acquisition.

works great, I noticed thermals dropped anywhere between 7-12 degrees depending on the task, it is quite loud as expected but an excellent trade off to improve the performance and extend the life of my laptop.

What a product
I was hesitant about it at first due to the price for a mere laptop fan. but my TUF Dash F15 was going up to 90c during summer, on long gaming sessions. And did shut it self down once. So I figured a fan is cheeper than a burnt out laptop.

With this GT500 V1 I have never seen a peek quite like that, stays under 80c on about 50% power, when using headphones and the noice is not an issue going at full power it stays under 70c with a few peeks now and then.

So far as I have tested. so depending on the make and mark of your laptop you should get 15-20c cooler operation.

Exellent build quality, wery sturdy and simply designed supports and legs that will last.

The USB extension is a nice plus, I never thought about having a dedicated charging station at my desk, but now I do.

Love the addition of the dust mesh at the air intake it relly does a lot of work stopping dust build up, better to clean a filter than your fans.
(But don't forget about clening your fans once in a while)

And thank you for having the option not to have any RGB lights, it's just not my cup of tea.

I would recomend anyone using a gaming laptop to get the GT500 models. RGB or not depending on your taste in tea.

And about my price hesitations, I no longer have them and neither should "you" as the reader pondering if this is a good product,

GT500v2 really awesome product but I would suggest changing the power adaptor to a 2-3m cable as the cable is a little short.

I'm very very happy with this purchase. Bought the GT500 (S2) for my Katana GF66 and the cooling results are amazing. My gaming laptop doesn't thermal throttling anymore, my temperatures have been reduced by 10-15c and I'm not afraid about the longevity of my cpu. Delivery was ok, overall, IETS makes high quality products and their support department is very good as well. This cooler is surely a masterpiece and i highly recommend this product to everyone out there with a gaming laptop. Thanks IETS!!
